A theist, an entrepreneur, a generous donor, & a great founder of PCW
His down-to-earth personality and dedication to serving lakhs of people over 7 decades earned accolades & many called him "Nadedaduva Devaru".
It all started in 1946, India under the verge of Independence gave a humble beginning to Prakash Coffee Works, starting the journey with a manual rotating drum to roast the coffee beans using wood logs & getting the grinding done with the help of flour mill stone grinders, and he used to pack the coffee powder at night. It's day & night work to prepare the best coffee powder & sell it in the shop the next day, which was loved by all the Customers and at times to save money he used to go a railway track by walk to sell at other cities.
Long before the world knew Angel Investing, his loved ones held his hand tight during financial hurdles, his beloved wife Smt.Kanthalakshmi pledged her gold to fund the expansion of the shop & another lifelong friend Sri Bala Krishna Iyer wholeheartedly gave funds without any terms but just with trust JNV is gentle yet bold & sharp in his decisions, and never took a step back, whether it was bidding the highest price for high-quality coffee beans at auction or importing never thought of a huge coffee roaster machine from Germany (1964) & he actively took part in the business even at the age of 99 Years & guided the next generations with humility & love.
His legacy is carried further by his Sons & Grandsons with at most care, affection & respect toward the customers.
1946 is a humble tribute to the great man whom we all look up to him as our guiding start.
